Growing up as a queer teen in a world that felt rigidly defined by heteronormative expectations, I often felt like an outsider. I tried to fit into spaces that weren’t ready to embrace difference—places that struggled to hold the unique, the unconventional, the untraditional. At times, I felt angry, misunderstood, scared, and profoundly alone. Even my first experience with therapy left me feeling disconnected—it was cold, clinical, and impersonal. Everything I now strive not to be.

But my story didn’t end there. With time and courage, I sought therapy again, and this time, I found something different. I learned that beneath my anger, there was a voice longing to be heard. That my fear wasn’t a weakness—it was a part of me needing care and understanding. And in that space of self-acceptance, I discovered the healing power of connection.

This is what I offer my clients—a space to show up exactly as they are. A place where you can explore, understand, and, most importantly, embrace yourself fully.

Education & Experience

I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Calgary. During this time, I volunteered in a research lab studying non-verbal communication in high and low trust couples. This work sparked my interest in romantic relationships and in research. Later, I completed my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, continuing to build on my desire to work with teens, 2SLGBTQIA individuals and couples.

I have special interests to help clients explore issues such as anger management, self-harm, suicidal ideation, sex and sexual and gender identity, self-esteem, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, and stress.

My Approach

Therapy with me is not a rigid process—it’s an open, evolving conversation. I use a relational approach, where the trust and safety we build together become the foundation for growth. I draw on Narrative Therapy to help you examine the stories you’ve been told—and the ones you tell yourself—about who you are and what you deserve. I believe in the power of connection to guide you toward living authentically.

Who I Work With

Teens (14-17)

I had my first therapy session at 16. I was skeptical. Up until then, adults had mostly been figures of authority, setting rules and expectations. Therapy felt foreign—another space where I wasn’t sure I belonged.

That’s why my therapy space for teens is different. Here, you are in control. You get to decide the pace, the topics, and how we explore them together. Whether through conversation, creativity, or movement, I’ll meet you where you’re at. My approach integrates:
Creative methods like Narrative Therapy and sand tray therapy, Somatic approaches, including mindfulness, relaxation, and movement and a Family systems approach, offering non-judgmental parent coaching to strengthen parent-teen relationships

I believe therapy should feel safe, flexible, and—most importantly—authentically yours.

Adults & Relationship Therapy

You deserve a space where you feel seen, valued, and deeply understood. My work with individuals and couples is attachment-focused and trauma-informed, grounded in the belief that healing happens through connection.

For couples, I use Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help strengthen bonds, repair disconnection, and foster deeper intimacy. Whether you’re struggling with communication, trust, or navigating complex relationship dynamics, we will work together to create a space where love feels safe again.

For individuals, I support healing from past wounds, helping you build self-awareness and cultivate fulfilling relationships—with both yourself and those around you. Whether you’re working through identity, self-esteem, anxiety, or past trauma, I will walk alongside you with warmth and understanding.

You don’t have to do this alone. I’m here, ready to meet you exactly where you are.
